1. Amie
This task and calendar tool is just beautiful. I'm particularly impressed with the desktop app—every pixel seems to be crafted with care. The mobile layout is stunning too, though I'm still getting used to how it works. What really sets it apart is the wide range of integrations they've created, making it a joy to use compared to other task apps out there. Plus, they offer a simple email feature that can help simplify your personal stack of tools even further.
2. Monica
There are many all-in-one AI assistants to choose from, but Monica is an exceptional choice. For me, Monica is primarily useful as a web browser add-on, but it does take it a step further with desktop and mobile apps. In my opinion, it's currently the top choice when it comes to features and user experience. I find myself using it often, especially for writing and breaking down complex information.
3. Leonardo
For many, Midjourney is too complex of a tool, and for those people, I can easily recommend Leonardo AI. Leonardo provides comparable results to Midjourney while being more user-friendly for newcomers. I’ve been using it to generate characters for a separate social media project I’m exploring right now. You can also get great results just with their free plan, which is awesome!
4. OmniGPT
OmniGPT is a fascinating all-in-one tool that allows you to combine the best models into one platform, including Perplexity. I’ve enjoyed testing it this week. If you’re someone who wants all the typical AI features combined in one place, along with great prompt presets, thread organization options, and even voice commands, then OmniGPT might be perfect for you. Check it out!
Otio — I use this tool every day. It's great for summarizing and interacting with all kinds of content, including YouTube videos. While it functions similarly to several other tools I've used, the simple design keeps me coming back daily.
Perplexity — Are you still using Google in 2024? Why?
Readwise — I have been a paid Readwise subscriber for over 5 years, long before they released their read-it-later app. It’s essential for my workflow, and everyone should use it to streamline their content consumption.
Voicenotes — I'm currently testing a handful of different AI voice transcription apps on my iPhone, and this is one of my favorites. It has an amazing minimalist design and allows you to manage all of your voice notes at once.
If you enjoyed this, forward it to an ambitious friend.
